Winter Prayer Retreat “Spiritual Tourist or Pilgrim?”
What does it mean to be a sojourner, passing through this land? This World is not our home, but we have a real home in heaven. This home is not relegated to the afterlife, but a genuine place for believers to live while on this earth. As someone has said, “We are to live our lives with one foot in heaven and one foot on earth.”
At this prayer retreat, with scripture as our guide, we will consider how our prayer life is different when we move from being a tourist to being a pilgrim.
