The Alternatives to Violence Project has 35 years of experience in violence prevention—in over 50 countries, in over 35 states. AVP has worked in prisons and schools; in refugee camps and churches. AVP is in 110 American prisons, it is In Rwanda, in Colombia, in the Congo, in the most violent places in the world working with the most violent people. We want to bring this experience to King County and Seattle.
