Master's Luncheon with Chap Clark: Discipleship - Fuller

Seattle Presbytery

Jan 9, 12:15-1:15 pm at Fuller
Master's Luncheon with Chap Clark: Discipleship--What Does It Mean?
Discipleship: What does it mean theologically, and what does it mean in today's church? Most of us in ministry have a more or less working definition of "discipleship" that is roughly based on Matthew 28, "Go and make disciples of all nations." But how often do we step back and ask the question, What does it actually mean to "make disciples"? Is our "working theology" an accurate take on our "Biblical theology"? That, then, begs the question, does what we do and communicate about "discipleship" reflect what we actually believe?
At this brown-bag lunch, we will take a careful and honest look at both questions in a discussion led by Dr. Chap Clark, Associate Provost for Regional Campuses and Strategic Projects.
Don't forget to pack a lunch! Some light snacks will be available.
