The Children, Youth & Family Ministry Certificate Program is an intensive three-week training designed for children, youth and family ministry staff, volunteers, Christian educators, and pastors on January 3-20, 2011. The program’s goal is to better equip participants to lead effective children, youth and family ministry programs in their home churches.
Students learn from knowledgeable faculty (see below) in a seminar format, including class discussions, presentations, conversations about assigned readings, videos, role plays, a ropes course experience, and more. The class size will be 15-20 students. While the days are packed with learning, there is ample time to have discussions with faculty and other students about how your learning applies to your local ministry setting.
