Explore the Christian Scriptures Seattle Pacific University

Seattle Presbytery

What if you and your family, small group, or church could explore the Christian Scriptures, led by a guide who was not only an outstanding biblical scholar but someone with a deeply personal Christian faith? That’s what Seattle Pacific University's Lectio: Guided Bible Reading offers you — and it’s free of charge.

The Center for Biblical and Theological Education at SPU invites you to join us September 27, or anytime thereafter, as together we begin the first leg of a guided journey through Scripture: Genesis 1–Exodus 19, led by Dr. Frank Spina, SPU professor of Old Testament and biblical theology, and author of The Faith of the Outsider: Exclusion and Inclusion in the Biblical Story. Each Lectio includes questions for discussion and reflection. To sign up now to receive notifications of weekly guided readings, and learn more about this campus-wide and community-wide initiative, visit http://www.spu.edu/cbte. Or if you have questions, contact us in the Center for Biblical and Theological Education at (206) 378-5415.
