We have just received word about Mark Duntley suffering heart problems. Mark served faithfully as pastor of Beacon Hill Presbyterian Church in a discouraging situation for a long period of time before his retirement (around 1992 I believe). A few years ago he and his wife Agnes moved to Pasadena and now live in the Presbyterian Retirement Community located there. I have included below the information that we received.
“July 5th Mark went to the emergency room at Kaiser Permanente with chest pains. After some tests he underwent an Angioplasty and a stent was placed in the main artery which was 95% blocked. He needs another stent on July 27th, the day after his 81st birthday. Stephen came out for the first procedure and was a great help to us. He and his family were planning to be here July 26-30, so he will be here for the second event too. It's always nice to have a doctor in the family at times like this. Mark is doing well, taking many pills, and trying to exercise gradually. We would appreciate your prayers.” - King Jones
