This full time position is responsible for traditional worship on Sundays through the leadership of traditional music ensembles, encouragement of teams that cultivate other traditional liturgical arts for worship, and education and equipping in the congregation and wider educational and ecclesial community. Ministry Director - The Inn, Pullman

The Director of The Inn will direct The Inn college ministry at Pullman Presbyterian Church. The Director will work with the Pastor(s) and Session to develop, communicate, and implement a Christ-centered, Kingdom-focused vision for this ministry within Pullman Presbyterian Church. The Director’s primary tasks will be to develop relationships with students at WSU, introduce them to faith in Jesus Christ and nurture them in a life of discipleship, train and support student leaders as well as any potential interns, develop relationships between students and the other members of PPC, fundraise needed financial support for the ministry, and perform other ministry tasks as specified to support the general ministry of the church.

Director of Children's Ministry - North Point

Director of Christian Formation (Interim) - Inglewood

Primary focus: so work that children – through scripture, prayer, service to others, and relationship with volunteers – regularly encounter Jesus, come to love him, and are nurtured in their relationship with him. This includes equipping and caring for volunteers, both in their ministry to children and in their own lives of faith.

  • Sunday morning early arrival for Sunday School setup. Active ministry during worship/Sunday School, then afterward for cleanup as necessary.
  • Wednesday evening Klub/4:6 meetings, including adult volunteer ‘huddle’
  • Monday morning staff meeting (30-45 min), plus weekly meetup with Pastor
  • Establish regular rhythm for remainder of work each week. We anticipate this will average around 7-9 hrs/wk for Sunday School and children, 7-9 hrs/wk for 4:6 and youth, and 3-4 hrs/wk miscellaneous meetings and duties.

Compensation: $20/hr through August 2013, with possibility of extension. Start date negotiable. For March-August 2013 we will provide 3 weeks of vacation/study-leave time. Professional expenses reimbursed.  Sunday preaching  compensated via honoraria.

 

Children & Family Ministries Director - Capitol Hill
